Botanical name: Sansevieria trifasciata
Origin: Africa, Madagascar, and Southern Asia.
Size: Small (4-inch nursery pot)
Light: Snake Plants do best in moderate to bright indirect light. However, they will do fine in low light areas and can also withstand full sun.
Water: Allow soil to dry in between waterings, about every 3-4 weeks. Less is more, overwatering can cause the plant to rot. Reduce watering down to once a month during the winter.
Plant care: Snake plants are very low maintenance and beginner-friendly. It does not require extra humidity but will do best if kept in warmer temperatures.
